April 23, 2019 – eMerge Americas, a platform which fosters innovation and entrepreneurship and serves as a catalyst for transforming Miami into the tech hub of the Americas, published the first annual “eMerge Insights Report” on venture activity and investment trends in South Florida.

Today, eMerge Americas, in partnership with Florida International University and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, has released the inaugural eMerge Insights Report, an annual publication that will track venture capital investments and trends in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale Metro area and across the state of Florida, with plans to expand and include deal flow throughout Latin America.

“We believe that Miami is on the cusp of something transformative – and we know the data and trends back it up,” said Felice Gorordo, CEO of eMerge Americas. “In order to better measure our ecosystem’s evolution and impact, we are partnering with former Miami Herald Business Editor Nancy Dahlberg, Florida International University, and Knight Foundation to track and tell the story of Miami’s transformation.”
