Venture Construction Group of Florida Tees Up to Support Local Families and Caregiver
Oct. 12, 2018 – Venture Construction Group ofFlorida (VCGFL) was the Presenting Sponsor and Putting Contest Sponsor at the eighth annual JRC Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament benefitting Molly’s House and Quantum House. Over 125 community members, local businesses and golf enthusiasts attended the annual fundraiser to raise money for the two charities. The tournament was held on Sept. 15 at Pipers Landing Yacht & Country Club in Palm City. Registration and continental breakfast started at 7 a.m., followed by the tournament at 8:30 a.m. Contests throughout the day included “Longest Drive”, “Closest to the Pin”, “$10,000 Putting Contest”, “Best Dressed”.

Located in Stuart, Molly’s House provides short-term and affordable accommodations for families of hospitalized loved ones and has served as a home away from home to nearly 22,000 people. Located in West Palm Beach, Quantum House is a home that supports families with children receiving medical treatment in Palm Beach Countyand serves over 1,000 family members each year.
“We completed a major commercial roof installation of flat roofing and tile roofing at Piper’s Landing Yacht and Country Club a couple years ago. It’s always great to be back here, enjoying the beautiful space while also giving back to those in need,” says Sandra Lawson, vice president of operations, Venture Construction Group of Florida.
