April 2, 2018 – Florida Blue, the leading health insurer in Florida, announced today that it has received a Brand Excellence Award from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA). The association’s annual awards honor Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) companies that excel in developing and enhancing the overall BCBS brand image.
Florida Blue was awarded the Brand Excellence Award in the “Member Retention” category for its especially high retention rate – 94 percent of its members renewed their coverage over this past year*. Florida Blue currently serves over 5 million members in the state.
