West Bay Club Expands Luxury Amenities and Breaks Ground on a New Sports Park

March 20, 2018 – West Bay Club, a private member-owned resort style South Florida community, is expanding its luxury amenities for residents.   Construction has begun on the new 2.3-acre Sports Park which will include Four Pickleball Courts, a Private Dog Park for small and large dogs, ample parking and restrooms.

“West Bay Club expansion plans for the Sports Park is a reflection of our commitment to add value and elevate the overall experience for our community residents here at West Bay Club,” said Jerry Beaubien, Community Board Vice President in charge of the project.  “The new Sports Park is the perfect complement to all of our world-class amenities that cater to the luxury active outdoor lifestyle and provide an additional social gathering opportunity for our residents.”

The addition of new Sports Park will add to the already extensive amenity package offered with no separate membership fees.  West Bay Club currently offers:

  • River Park with a private boat launch and Gulf access
  • Bay House for dining, meetings and other activities
  • Resort-style swimming pool, tiki bar, kiddie pool, and adult spa

“There are so many new developments going on at the West Bay Club,” said Bill Darkoch, Community Board President. “Very few communities offer the quality of life West Bay Club has, and with the addition of the new Sports Park, our community members really have it all.  Nothing compares on Florida’s Southwest Coast.”

The completion of phase one of the project is anticipated for mid-June, 2018.

West Bay Club’s 18-hole championship golf course, designed by Pete and P.B. Dye, is also scheduled to begin its $4 million renovations this April, led by renown design team of Fry-Straka.  The course will close on April 2nd, 2018, and is expected to reopen in mid-November, 2018.
