March 6, 2018 – The Humane Society of Broward County and all its four-legged friends will be getting a visit from the teammates at goTRG on a “Pawsitive Service Day” set for March 16.
goTRG, a leader in end-to-end business solutions & SaaS for omni-channel and supply chain, is committed to community service in South Florida, said Sender Shamiss, co-founder and CEO of goTRG.
goTRG team members will be visiting the Humane Society of Broward County on March 16 to learn more about the organization and how goTRG can assist this important community group. There will be an instructional presentation, a shelter tour, hands-on work in the shelter and a pizza lunch.
At the end of December, Sender encouraged the goTRG team to suggest community service projects in South Florida. In the wake of 2017 record-breaking growth and sales that exceeded company expectations, Sender asked his team to “pay it forward.”
Further, he challenged teammates to “volunteer, help the community and make the world a better place.”
The response has been overwhelming. In fact, many teammates shared their personal commitment to a variety of charitable organizations in close proximity to the company’s Miami headquarters.
Coincidentally, several goTRG teammates suggested the company do its part to learn more about and help the Humane Society of Broward County.
“Thanks to the great suggestions from our team, we will be visiting many organizations throughout 2018 and doing our part to give back to the community,” Sender added.
Since announcing its community service initiative, Give-Back 2018, the South Florida team at goTRG visited an elementary school to distribute Christmas gifts and donated time to help Habitat for Humanity build a house in South Florida.
