Days Inn Amelia Island Reopens Breakwater Hotel

Jan. 23, 2018 – Days Inn Amelia Island at the beach has reopened as 3.5-Star boutique hotel Breakwater Hotel at the Beach on January 1, 2018.

Enhancing guest experience, Breakwater Hotel at the Beach will be undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation throughout 2018. First priority for property management is to address prior guest comments with a $250,000renovation to be completed by February 28, 2018. Initial renovation includes upgraded breakfast buffet with hot breakfast items, new door locks, new carpet in first floor guest rooms and new mattresses in each guest room.

Throughout 2018, the property will transform from a 3.5-Star Amelia Island hotel with resort style amenities to a 4-Star Amelia Island resort with completely renovated guest rooms including hardwood floors, state of the art technology and luxurious guest amenities. The property will feature a large swimming pool with lazy river, spacious LifeFitness center, large business center, a state of the art hot beverage maker available to all guests 24-hours a day, over 4,000 square feet of meeting space, and completely renovated lobby and bar area.
