Oct. 26, 2017 – Red Lambda, a leading provider of cybersecurity software, today announced that it has appointed Dr. Lewis M. Duncan as a member to its Board of Directors. Dr. Duncan’s term as a member of the Board is effective immediately.
Dr. Lewis M. Duncan currently serves as Provost of the U.S. Naval War College. Additionally, he continues as a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space, responsible for managing the U.S. National Laboratory of the International Space Station. He also serves as an Associated Fellow of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, supporting the global humanitarian missions of the United Nations Operational Satellite Applications Technology (UNOSAT) program. In addition, Dr. Duncan has held prestigious positions with leading colleges, universities, and one of the world’s largest science and technology organizations:
- Rollins College – President
- Dartmouth College – Dean, Thayer School of Engineering
- University of Tulsa – Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
- Clemson University – Associate Dean, College of Sciences
- Stanford University – Carnegie Science Fellow, Center for International Security and Cooperation
- Los Alamos National Laboratory – Research Scientist and Section Head, Space Science and Technology
Dr. Duncan is also a founding Board member of Angeli Parvi, providing early-stage support and counsel to technology-based start-up ventures, serves as Chairman of the Board for SignalQuest LLC, and participates as a member of the Science & Management Advisory Committee for the National Astronomy and Ionosphere Center. Dr. Duncan holds a Ph.D. in Space Physics from Rice University and is internationally recognized as an accomplished research scientist in experimental space physics and radiophysics.
