3 Daughters Brewing Honored by U.S. Chamber of Commerce as Emerging Business Achievement Winner

 

Sept. 21, 2017 – 3 Daughters Brewing, one of the fastest-growing regional breweries from Florida, has been awarded the 2017 Emerging Business Achievement Award during the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s annual Dream Big Small Business of the Year Award Celebration, presented by MetLife. The annual awards ceremony celebrates the achievements of small businesses and honors their contributions to America’s economic growth.

“We’re honored to be recognized by the U.S. Chamber as a small business helping to grow the economy in Florida,” said Mike Harting, CEO of 3 Daughters Brewing. “We were thrilled to be among such an elite group of national finalists. We hope to continue being a leader in our community and helping it grow along with the rest of Florida.”

The Emerging Business Achievement Award recognizes a start-up company that has attained outstanding business and recognizes that it exemplifies the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship and individual initiative.

“Small business owners are the backbone of our nation, exemplifying the American Dream by working hard, taking risks, and helping strengthen their communities and local economies,” said U.S. Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue. “The Dream Big Award winners have gone above and beyond to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship, and we are proud to recognize these tremendous small businesses for all of their achievements.”

Award winners were announced at the Dream Big Awards Celebration as part of the 2017 Small Business Summit, which took place Sept.10-13, 2017 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. 3 Daughters Brewing was not able to attend because they opened up the brewery as a resource during Hurricane Irma.
