Aug. 8, 2017 – LandSouth Construction, a Jacksonville, FL based general contractor specializing in multifamily, senior living and mixed-use developments, committed earlier this month to building a luxury 264-unit four story elevator and interior corridor apartment complex in South Hillsborough County, a growing area just south of Tampa.
LandSouth is partnering with developer, Simmons Loop Ventures, LLC a venture between Lindell Investments, Investors Realty Ltd., Inc. and architect, James S. Carr & Associates, LLC for this gated, four building development.
Featuring elevators and interior air-conditioned corridors in every building, granite counter-tops, island kitchens, oversized tubs, and washer/dryers in every unit, the new community will offer residents access to resort-style amenities (including: an 8,000 square foot clubhouse, 25 yd. swimming pool, library, and multiple fitness centers). Conveniently located across the street from St. Joseph’s hospital and within easy walking distance of the new Big Bend Family Y.M.C.A., this new project is the most recent of many exciting expansion efforts in the area.
“We’ve recently seen an increase in multifamily building in the Tampa area, this project is the second we have committed to in the past month,” said James Pyle, President and CEO of LandSouth Construction.
The proposed project is expected to be completed Winter 2018. Plans are projected to merge modern convenience with relaxation and community. The apartment complex is yet to be named.
“Our design strategy is focused on upscale comfort and connectivity,” Residence Management, Inc. President, Heidi Marling, explains. “Our goal is to bridge the generational age gap through contemporary comfort focused rustic design – that means big spaces with little niches, an aesthetic that’s classy but still cool. And of course, placemaking the property within a thriving, walkable environment.”
LandSouth Construction is currently working on apartments and mixed-use developments throughout the Southeast including Lawrenceville, GA, Boynton Beach, Daytona Beach, Delray Beach, Sanford, Lakeland, Davenport, Casselberry, Odessa, Winter Springs and Orlando FL, Chattanooga, Tenn., Mt. Pleasant, SC. and senior living developments in Bonita Springs and Fort Myers, FL.
