July 5, 2017 – My Eyelab, (www.myeyelab.com) one of the fastest growing retail optical centers in the nation, will present its one-of-kind business opportunity to several athletes represented by The Sports & Entertainment Group, a D.C.-based sports agency for some of the top stars in the NFL and professional boxing. The event, part of the agency’s annual client retreat at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel, will take place Friday, July 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. EDT.
As part of the event, My Eyelab will utilize its proprietary telemedicine software to conduct an on-site examination, as well as present custom-made prototype frames to NFL-players Antoine Bethea, Kendall Langford, Justin Durant, Maurice Jones-Drew, James White, Tyrod Taylor and Matt Forte.
“More often, athletes are making smart investments to ensure the long-term comfort and security of their family, well beyond their playing days,” said Daniel Stanton, CEO and co-founder of My Eyelab. “The My Eyelab franchise opportunity enables these NFL stars to pave their own path to potential post-career earnings success.”
In December 2016, Buffalo Bills starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor endorsed Stanton Optical and My Eyelab, aligning himself with the brands to promote routine eye exams and the use of corrective eyewear to achieve perfect vision. The partnership introduced a new fashion-forward men’s frame line named after Tyrod, which launched in early 2017.
Vision Precision Holdings, the parent company of My Eyelab and Stanton Optical, recently earned recognition as the 18th largest optical retailer in the U.S. by Vision Monday, currently operating 73 corporate locations, with 13 more expected to open by the end of 2017. My Eyelab is seeking single and multi-unit franchise owners in the priority markets of Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Texas and North Carolina.
