WellCare Names Stephanie Davis Senior Vice President, Division President

April 19, 2017 – WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG) announced today it has named Stephanie Davis senior vice president, division president, effective April 17, 2017. Davis will be responsible for WellCare’s Arizona, Hawaii and Nebraska markets. She will report to Kelly Munson, WellCare’s executive vice president, Medicaid.

“Stephanie is an innovative and seasoned leader with vast experience across state, federal and employer-based health and social service programs,” said Munson. “She has a deep understanding of what is needed to deliver quality health care to our members and will help identify best practices and scalable solutions to continue to serve the unique needs of our members, providers and government partners.”

Prior to joining WellCare, Davis spent nearly 20 years with Mercer Health & Benefits, LLC where she held a variety of executive roles of increasing scope and responsibility. Most recently, Davis served as a partner and western region business leader at Mercer with responsibility for eight states in the western territory. Prior to her tenure at Mercer, Stephanie served as assistant director of managed care with Arizona’s Medicaid agency, the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).

Davis holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of San Diego and will be based in WellCare’s Arizona office in Phoenix.
