“If we as a community don’t step up to better ourselves, then who will? The police and City residents need each other in order to build stronger relationships and we feel this is a great cause to support and to do so. We look forward to cycling with everyone on Saturday,” said Captain Doce who has been serving the City of Miami Beach for the past 28 years.

The length of the ride will be 11.5 miles from North Beach to South Beach and back, making a stop at Miami Beach Senior High School. Participants can register by paying a $20 registration fee payable to the American Cancer Society – Relay for Life on race day. Entries will be accepted starting at 8:00 a.m. at JB Bike Shop located at 7430 Collins Ave. Riders will set off at 9:00 a.m. from the same location.
